昭和時代の日本の典型的な家族写真の構図で家族の肖像を描いています。
彼らはきちんとした服を着てかしこまっていますが、表情はぎこちなく、目をそれぞれ別のところを見ています。

私が描くモチーフは、この絵のような動きのない人物像や風景や家や植物など、身近でどこにでもあるありふれたものですが、その光景はどこか非現実的な不思議な空気を漂わせています。

描きたいのは、抜けるような明るさと底のない深い闇や、日常と非日常といった両義性です。
あらゆるものが持っている相反する2つの側面の存在を認めながら、その狭間で上手くバランスをとって生きている私達の、日々の小さな緊張感のようなものを表現しています。

リソグラフの鮮やかな色彩とその色がいくつも重なることでできる影や、微妙な版ズレやカスレは、私の描きたいものを表現するのに最適だと思っています。

私はリソグラフの色ごとの版を鉛筆による細かいグラデーションで描くという珍しい方法で作品を制作します。
アナログとデジタルを掛け合わせることで生まれるリソグラフの色彩や質感をお楽しみください。

【技法】
リソグラフとは、シルクスクリーンやガリ版などと同じ技術を利用したデジタル孔版印刷で、海外ではアート作品制作の技法として広く認知されています。

私の場合は、鉛筆によるグラデーションでモノクロの版をシアン用、イエロー用、マゼンダ用というように色ごとに数枚描き、それを版にしてリソグラフ で刷るという珍しい方法で作品を制作しています。

This family portrait is composed in a typical Showa-era Japanese family photo composition.
They are neatly dressed and formal, but their expressions are awkward and their eyes are looking elsewhere.

The motifs in my works are familiar and commonplace, such as motionless human figures, landscapes, houses, and plants, but the scenes have a mysterious, unrealistic air.

What I want to depict is the ambivalence between lightness and darkness, between the everyday and the extraordinary.
I am trying to express the small daily tensions that we feel as we live our lives, balancing between the two opposing sides of everything, while acknowledging the existence of both.

I believe that the vivid colors of Risograph and the shadows created by the overlapping of the colors, as well as the subtle shifts and shadings in the plate, are ideal for expressing what I want to depict.

I work in an unusual way, using fine gradations of pencil on each color plate of Risograph.

【Techniques of Creating Works】

Risograph is a digital stencil printing technique that utilizes the same technology as silkscreening and galley printing, and is widely recognized as a technique for creating artworks.



In my case, I use a pencil gradation technique to draw several black-and-white plates for each color (cyan, yellow, magenta, etc.), which are then used as plates for Risograph printing, which is an unusual method.
